I had an idea about 5:30 this evening - to do a "movie" of the gardens at the Frank Phillips Home. So, I grabbed my trusty Olympus C5050Z and headed out to take some pics. Back home again, I cropped and processed (note the panoramas) using Adobe PhotoShop CS2, then turned them into a "movie" using PhotoStory 3. To polish the new movie off I then pulled some music off the computer that hubby had recorded. Hope you like the finished product.

Ozark Adventure 2007
Time for another adventure. We three girls and Charlie headed off for Arkansas. First stop was Eureka Springs to enjoy it's unique setting, architecture, and shopping, then on to Buffalo National Park where we spent the day canoeing and enjoying nature. Soon we were on the road again, heading for the Ozark Folk Art Center. Then back home to plan the next great adventure. I think we'll go south--way south--next time.

Tulum - Ancient Mayan City
Tulum was built more than 1400 years ago. Early reports predicted a direct hit and destruction by Hurricane Dean - thankfully it was spared. Our Mayan guide gave us a running commentary of the city's history. Tulum is surrounded on three sides by rock walls and on the fourth by a cliff and the sea.
Take the A Train
We visited New York City in 2005. Grand Central Station--amazing!

No regrets!
The new semester is about to start...without me. Am I sad? No way!!! I have my Z3 (a retirement gift from me to me), and hubby and I are ready for a road trip with Martha and Marletta and Martha's Miata. Two small white streaks across the countryside. Can hardly wait - but the temperature needs to back off a bit. August 100s - just too hot - maybe late September or October?
